We are seeking a Business Development Specialist with experience in international development and donor-funded projects to support opportunity tracking, proposal preparation, and partnerships with global institutions.
Key Responsibilities
Research and track opportunities with UN agencies, World Bank, regional development banks, INGOs, and donor procurement portals (e.g., UNGM, Devex, NGO portals).
Support preparation of expressions of interest, pre-qualification documents, and donor-funded project proposals.
Assist in partnership building, outreach, and teaming with international consulting firms and NGOs.
Draft sections of proposals including corporate capabilities, past performance, and staff CVs.
Monitor donor funding priorities, calls for proposals, and pipeline opportunities.
Support the creation of concept notes, capability statements, and presentations for international clients.
Qualifications
Strong experience in business development, proposal support, or donor engagement in the humanitarian and international development sector.
Familiarity with UN, World Bank, INGO, and other donor procurement processes.
Preferably experienced in management consulting firms or contributing to international development project proposals.
Excellent writing, research, and coordination skills.
Ability to work effectively across teams in a deadline-driven environment.
